Jupyter-Anaconda

1.Jupyter notebook/lab

For server using ref.

  • 1.1. Installation

pip install jupyterlab,it contains jupyter-notebook.

Or using:

conda install jupyterlab,when Anaconda is installed.

  • 1.2. Dependencies

1.yarn

a.Already installed node.js

curl --silent --location https://dl.yarnpkg.com/rpm/yarn.repo | sudo tee /etc/yum.repos.d/yarn.repo
b.No node.js, need repository
curl --silent --location https://rpm.nodesource.com/setup_12.x | sudo bash -
c.Then,install yarn
apt/yum install -y yarn-1.13.0

2.node.js,as the repo added above

apt/yum install nodejs
Not recommended methods below: using package getting from nodejs.org

3.Pip install necessaries,if without Anaconda

pip3 install ipython,matplotlib,scipy,pandas,numpy

1.Set password

jupyter-notebook password < *your-password*

2.Generate hash password

ipython
from notebook.auth import passwd
passwd()
# 输入刚才设置登录JupyterLab界面的密码:*your-password*

# 然后就会生产下面这样的 hash password

3.Generate jupyter-lab config file and edit it as below,using the hash password above.

jupyter lab --generate-config vi ~/.jupyter/jupyter_notebook_config.py

c.NotebookApp.notebook_dir = u'/root/JupyterLab'
c.NotebookApp.open_browser = False

5.Change the json password

6.Build

jupyter-lab --version

jupyter lab build

7.Start up

nohup jupyter lab &

Note:http://ip:port/

8.Add JupyterLab extensions

jupyter labextension list

jupyter labextension install @jupyterlab/github
pip install jupyterlab_github

9.Add kernels

sudo pip2 install ipykernel
sudo pip3 install ipykernel
jupyter kernelspec list
